Contractors Health and Safety Scheme

CHAS (the Contractors Health and Safety Scheme) exists to give public and private sector buyers confidence in the health and safety compliance of contractors. CHAS accreditation reduces inconsistencies in health and safety standards and helps buyers and contractors save time and resources when tendering for work.

Solar Trade Association

The Solar Trade Association helps its members to promote solar and renewable energy products and services. The site contains useful information on all aspects of solar power.

National Home Improvement Council

The NHIC (National Home Improvement Council) provides information on its members services and loads of useful information on every conceivable home improvement as well as listing things to look out for when improving your home. It is also home of the NHIC awards, SolarTech were winners in 2009 of Best Solar Energy Practice.

Renewable Energy Association

Existing to promote sustainable energy usage in the UK the Renewable Energy Association sets the standards for solar energy companies to adhere to when supplying domestic customers and local authorities.

Renewable Energy Assured Listing

The Renewable Energy Assurance Limited site has excellent resources for consumers thinking of installing solar energy in their homes. As well as providing a trusted and assured list of providers it also contains great consumer guidance and technical information.
